Co-Sell Guide
Azure Co-Sell
Azure co-sell mechanics: Microsoft Partner Center opportunity registration, co-sell status, PAL attribution, and field handoffs with Microsoft AEs and specialists.

Partner Center as the system of record
Azure co-sell runs through Microsoft Partner Center. Every qualified pursuit needs a Partner Center opportunity with correct customer tenant, workload, estimated value, and co-sell ready status.
Stale Partner Center records lose Microsoft seller attention. Update stage, close date, and next steps weekly during active pursuits.
Co-sell ready criteria
Microsoft sellers prioritize opportunities marked co-sell ready with a named customer contact, defined workload, and partner engagement plan.
Before requesting Microsoft AE time, confirm budget timing, decision process, and technical blockers. Attach solution brief or architecture diagram to the opportunity.
PAL and consumption attribution
Partner Admin Link ties Azure consumption to partner influence. Register PAL on customer tenants where your team drove platform adoption.
PAL without an active co-sell pursuit still matters for services partners. Pair PAL registration with Partner Center opportunity linkage when both apply.
Marketplace transact on Azure
Azure Marketplace private offers close procurement for ISV and services deals. Co-sell registration and marketplace offer must reference the same customer and timeline.
Use IP co-sell when your offer is a solution listed on marketplace. Use services co-sell when your firm delivers migration, implementation, or managed services on Azure.
