Co-Sell Guide

ACE Co-Sell

AWS ACE co-sell: partner-sourced submissions, AWS-sourced invitations, required fields, acceptance SLAs, and keeping opportunities active.

Written by Ali Chehab for ISV and SI teams running Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud co-sell. See also stages, UDL, and the hyperscaler co-sell knowledge graph.

Partner-sourced submission

Submit from ACE with customer company, industry, use case, AWS account ID if known, expected monthly AWS revenue, and competitive tracking.

Submissions missing use case detail fail automated validation. Write use case for AWS seller skimming, not internal shorthand.

AWS-sourced invitations

When AWS invites your firm, accept and assign seller plus SA within one business day. AWS measures partner responsiveness.

Clarify services vs ISV role in acceptance notes. AWS routes by partner type.

Keeping ACE opportunities alive

Update stage and notes after every customer touch. AWS sellers deprioritize opportunities with no activity over 30 days.

Alliance ops should run weekly ACE hygiene: stale records updated or closed lost with reason.

Linking MAP and marketplace

Reference MAP case ID and marketplace offer in ACE notes when applicable. AWS account teams use linked signals for funding approval.

One pursuit narrative across ACE, MAP, and marketplace prevents internal AWS confusion.
